The speed of technology has conditioned modern humans to value instant gratification over being present and staying in the moment.  As a result, we see positivity as the be all end all, which is not the complete picture.  We need to understand that fear is a part of us, and use it as an opportunity to grow, versus shunning it and wishing it weren’t there.  We are biologically programmed to feel fear.
